Hallow Mall—Adel’s Office
Adel looked
at Maggie’s application, “Welcome back to Pinõn Hallow Mall, Maggie. I’m glad
your back; I just wish I could’ve given you back your position at Imagination.”
“Thank you
so much Mrs. Davis, you have no idea how much I need this.” Maggie was beaming
with joy.
“You can
start today, get to know the office of The Java Jet,
and some of the staff. Oh and there as you know is a uniform, its simple I know
how annoying they can be.”
“Is it
still the yellow shirt, with black apron?” Maggie took the elastic from her
wrist and pulled her hair back.
“Actually
no, its now jeans, and a blue shirt which we have a
stock of in the office.” Adel said as she was picking up a pile of keys,
“You’ll need these, a key to the gate and door of the Java Jet, and of course
one to the mall, and one to the shipping area so you
can get your supplies.”
“Thank you
again Mrs. Davis.” Maggie said getting up to leave as she put the keys on her
chain.
Hallow
Hills—Pool House
Abby stood
in
Abby nodded,
“Yeah I put them in the twins room. Follow me.” She
grabbed the bottles and they went into the nursery.
“Yeah,
without organization this would be complete chaos.” She said as she placed the
bottles down on the dresser and took
Abby
expertly removed the diaper and cleaned
“Wow,
you’re really good at this.”
“I would
hope so, you are paying me to look after them.” she picked
“Thanks, I
just hope we can keep it up.”
“I’m sure
we will. I’m slightly Obsessive Compulsive, it’ll stay this way.” She explained
as she opened the closet door and revealed that it was filled with shelves with
different products for the twins. “Oh, here’s the diaper pail, very secure so
you don’t have to smell anything.” She pressed it open with my foot and tossed
the dirty diaper in.
“Thank you
for organizing this, I don’t think I even thought of half this stuff.”
“I’m just
grateful you’re letting me into the lives of your children Mr. Davis.”
Love and
Honor Set
Kyle
followed the young man delivering flowers for the finale. He slipped into the
shadows, amazed at what the studio actually looked like. He saw Wink
Kyle saw
Trista and Joan being brought out, each wearing cocktail dresses. Trista leaned
over to Joan to wish her luck and Joan thanked her.
The crew
got into position and before Kyle knew it he was in the background of the set,
hiding behind a bunch of flowers.
“Good
evening
Trista and
Joan both entered the stage area, each standing on one side of Brock.
“Tonight,
in just a short while, Brock will present the final key,
The montage
began, and then they went to commercial, Kyle was stuck in place, people were
all around and there was no where for him to break free, he would have to do
this on National Television, that was now for sure.
“Welcome
back to Love and Honor, the time has now come for the final key ceremony, who will Brock Jensen choose, you’ll find out in just a moment.”
Wink said as a prop guy appeared on stage with the final key, and a ring box to
be placed on the podium. Trista and Joan stood in front of the faux fireplace
and held hands, their eyes watching Brock.
“The woman
I choose tonight, to spend the rest of my life captured my heart the first time
I saw her. I knew then, what I still know now that she is the one for me.”
Brock began as he picked up the key and held it in his hand, “So tonight—“
“Stop!”
Kyle yelled as he came out from behind the flowers, “I have something to say
before we go on.”
Trista
stared at him, “Kyle, you’re on National LIVE television right now. What is
going on?”
Wink looked
at Kyle, “Who are you and why are you interrupting the key ceremony?”
“I’m Kyle
Roberts and I love this woman!” He declared as he pointed directly at Trista,
“I met her in January and immediately fell in love with her,
she is the only woman in the world that can complete me.”
Trista took
a step forward, “Kyle this could’ve waited, trust me.”
“No it
couldn’t.” he took her hands in his, “I wanted to tell you this before he
presented the final key. Trista, I love you. I got so jealous when you applied
that I didn’t know how to handle it. It’s part of the
pattern of mistakes I make, and I want to end that. I want to stop making
mistakes, and make things right with you.”
Wink turned
to the camera, “I promised you twists
“Trista
forget about Brock, let me have the key to your heart.” Kyle pleaded as his
eyes locked with hers, causing her to smile.
“Oh Kyle!”
she declared before throwing her arms around him in a hug.
“Um,
Trista, Brock still has a choice to make, may we
present the final key now?” Wink asked.
Trista
pulled back from Kyle, but only a little bit as she watched Brock hold up the Key for the camera’s, “I would like to offer the
final key to Joan, the love of my life. I’m just very glad we had this chance
to reunite.”
Joan
stepped forward, “I will gladly accept the key Brock.” She smiled before he
leaned down and kissed her.
Kyle leaned
over to Trista, “So I had no reason to worry I was going to lose you?”
Trista
smiled, “None at all, Brock’s had Joan in his sight since he found out she was
on the show.”
Siobhan’s
Apartment
Siobhan
starred at the screen, “What the hell are you doing Kyle?!”
Conner came
in from the hallway, “Siobhan I can hear you all the way upstairs in my
apartment, what the hell is going on?”
“Kyle is on
the love and Honor set, he just told Trista he loves her. Then Brock Jensen
gave the final key to Joan!”
“Siobhan,
you’re going nuts, just relax okay. It’s just television,
you’ve got to know this is all fixed, right?”
“It is so
not fixed! You can force someone to love you!”
Conner
rolled his eyes, “Alright then, I have to go meet Grace we’re having coffee,
please relax.”
“Bye.” She
said, still staring at the screen.
The Java
Jet
Conner and
Grace were sitting at the corner table; Maggie came out from the back and
paused when she saw him. Her heart fluttered like a butterfly on the first day
of spring. She watched him for a moment, and then it hit her,
he was here on a date as he pushed Grace’s long red hair behind her ear.
Maggie
ducked into the back just as Conner looked up, for a moment he was positive he
had seen Maggie. But he knew that couldn’t be, she was in
