Episode 3.13

Abby and Dan’s Apartment

Abby threw the snowball towards him, just barely hitting his leg as the white powder went everywhere around him like fairy dust. He looked up, as if shocked she hit him as he tried to gather some snow in his gloved hands and began running after her through the snow covered clearing.

He started to catch up to her, his hands reaching out for her waist, missing as she fell into the snow bank behind her. The hair sticking out from under her beanie spread around seeming very dark against the white snow. He hovered above her before she tripped him and he fell on top of her.

They looked into each other’s eyes as his hands held her snuggly around her hips. His gloved hands against what little exposed skin she had with all the layers she was wearing. He heard her gasp at the sensation of the cold as he pulled her up, her arms flopping around him.

There the two of them sat, in the snow together, holding each other. Looking into each others yes and yet never saying a word. He reached up, and touched her face, and removed her beanie.

He was going to kiss her, his lips would press against hers. She would taste him, feel his warmth.

He did just that, he leaned closer and kissed her, and they leaned back into the snow. Almost engulfed by it as his hands moved up from her hips towards her breasts. She arched her back as he touched her.

Chad, I don’t know if I can wait anymore.” She pleaded as she wrapped her legs around his, while he planted kisses and nibbled on her neck and ears. “I can barely breath. Make love to me Chad.”

Abby sat straight up in bed, and looked around at the tangle of sheets she had created during her latest dream about Chad Davis. All night long for the past several nights she had tossed, turned, and dreamed about him. About making love to him. All of this after their kiss under the mistletoe.

She fought free from the blankets and went over the dresser, looking at her reflection in the mirror. She had circles under her eyes, her hair was ratted, on all accounts she looked visibly upset. She was just glad she had been able to cover up and Ethan had no idea what was going on. She knew he would flip out if he found out his cousin, her boss had kissed her, and even more so if he found out she kissed him back.

Hallow Hills—Pool House

Chad rubbed his hands together as he and a decorator walked through the living room, “I want the entire place redone. I don’t want to recognize it when its done.” he explained as he looked around and thought of the memories.

This was what he and Bethany lived, but it was his home and he had to start anew, especially if he wanted to reach his brand new goal. Plus with Kathryn Layden being murdered perhaps where he stood he knew it needed a whole new look.

“It should be no problem at all Mr. Davis, we’ve got your notes and ideas. Our staff will start right away and you should be able to move in by the tenth.” the designer flipped through a day planner making notes about all sorts of things.

Chad smiled, “Good, perfect timing. Hopefully she’ll be ready then to.” he said mainly to himself.

Hallow Hotel Room 5

Lysa stepped out of the bathroom, wearing the plaid skirt and white button down top Sean had given her. He said it was the first of the costumes they would be using. Right now she just felt like she was getting sent to catholic school, which was probably exactly what her father would do once he found out.

“So sexy.” Sean still had his uniform on from work.

“Same to you.” Lysa stepped forward, “So we’re into costumes now?”

Sean rolled his eyes, “Lysa, we agreed that you wouldn’t question me. Remember I know what we’re doing. I’m instructing you.”

Lysa nodded and soon felt Sean’s hand moving up the inside of her thighs and between her legs against her cotton panties. He did not look happy.

“You broke a rule.” He sat down on the bed, “You know the rules, its time for your punishment.”
She nodded and slipped out of the panties throwing them into the bathroom with the rest of her clothes as she laid over Sean’s lap, with her behind reaching for the sky.

“Better already.” He told her before he spanked her, and continued several more times. “There, I bet you won’t forget again.”

Lysa stood up, “No I won’t forget again Sean.”

“Good girl.” He slid his hand up her thigh once again, finding the sweet spot he wanted, and smiled, “Did the spanking feel good.”

She blushed and he knew it did.

“Its okay honey. I’m here to help you explore. Here sit on my lap.” he told her as he took his hand away from her for just a second and unzipped his pants, releasing his erection.

Lysa did as she was told and could feel Sean pushing into her, she gripped him, keeping him as far in as possible.

Sean began thrusting in an out as Lysa dug her nails into his back threw his shirt. She arched her lower body to him as she leaned back, her breathing heavy, moans escaping from her throat.

He pulled her closer, and began kissing her neck, nibbling on her ears. He was hungry for his niece and nothing was going to stop him from taking what he wanted.

“Let it out baby girl, let it out.” He thrust into her harder as she got closer, bringing him closer to the edge.

Finally, Lysa screamed with pleasure, moaning his name as she felt him reach his peak.

Hallow Hills—Foyer

Abby came into the house and for a moment found herself staring at the front door. She couldn’t help but remember. “Where’s Mr. Davis?” she asked Elise the maid as she began to remove her hat and coat.

Chad? He’s in the pool house with a decorator. He wants to move back into it.”

“Thanks.” Abby put her coat back on and went outside. She was surrounded by snow. Snow. Just like in the dream she had. The only thing she needed now was for Chad to come out and start a snowball fight.

The Java Jet

Cassie sipped her Carmel latte and looked up at Eric as he sat down, “So Christmas Eve was a bust.”

“I know.” He looked disappointed, “We could try on New Years Eve? I mean there’s the huge carnival down town. Okay so it’ll be like five below but still.”

Cassie shook her head, “No, something way more intimate.”

“Like what? I mean gosh what are we going to do, set it up so they meet each other in a cabin?” Eric shrugged and watched as Cassie lit up.

“That is like the most perfect plan ever. We can totally set it up earlier that day, you know this way you can spend the night with your girlfriend or whatever instead of me.”

Eric looked down at his tea, “I know a place we can use. It’ll be perfect and we won’t have to pay for it.”

“Really, how are you going to pull that off?”

“My Dad owns it. I’ve got the key.”

“Sounds good to me.” She took another sip of her latte, “So say New Years Eve at like 1pm we go up there and set things up and be back at like 5pm and then get Maggie and Conner on there way.”

Eric nodded, “Perfect, I’ll meet you here.”

“Great.” Cassie got up, taking her latte with her, “I’ll see you then.”

“Cassie, wait. Just so you know I don’t have a girlfriend or whatever.” Eric smiled.

“That’s good to know. Bye Eric.”

PHPD

Dan sat at his desk and looked at the suspects list again, it just was not making any sense at all to him. Kip just seemed way to easy to be the killer. He looked between the pictures of Adel, Doug, and Chad. It had to be one of them. They knew Kathryn Layden. They had a motive. Who was it though?

“Hey Adams, this just came in through the fax. I figured you and Lane would want to see it.” one of the other rookie cops placed the paper on the desk.

The one who caused Brighton Simpson’s death, caused Kathryn Layden’s.

Dan picked up the paper and couldn’t figure it out to save the life of him. He thought back to that hot July night when he delivered a pizza to the room to find it on fire. But what connection could Brighton Simpson and Kathryn Layden have?

“What are you looking at?” Siobhan asked as she handed him a cup of coffee.

He handed her the paper, “This just came in on the machine. I have no idea what it means, but you worked the Brighton Simpson case, you should know.”

Siobhan took it and studied the paper, and then took out her notebook. “Chad Davis and Kathryn Layden had a fling right?”

Dan nodded, “So how does that connect to Brighton Simpson?”

“Found it!” Siobhan said with a smile, “Brighton Simpson was part of this gay cult right, and Chad Davis was investigating it for a story he was working on. Well Brighton and him were put together as a couple. Brighton believed that Chad was his husband.”

“Wow, that connects them big time. But how does that connect to her murder?”

Chad used to live in the pool house, Kathryn was killed in the pool house.” Siobhan slammed her note book closed.

“But wasn’t the one who killed Brighton Simpson some wondering serial killer they caught in like Montana?” Dan took a sip of his coffee as he watched the light go out of his superiors eye.

“You’re right. It’s probably just a practical joke.”

Memorial Hospital—On Call Room

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Carsyn asked when he came in and saw Trista sitting at the table looking very upset.

She sighed, “Its Kyle, something’s going on. I mean I know work’s been insane for him with the Grace Waterside case and now this murder case. But I just have this really bad feeling.”

He sat down across from her and took her left hand in his, “Hey, don’t worry everything is going to be fine. You and Kyle are going to be together, probably forever. He loves you, and you are crazy about him. Almost as crazy as you were for me.” he joked.

Trista playfully slapped him in the arm, “And how are things going with Maggie?”

Carsyn beamed, “Wonderfully, in fact I’m thinking that on New Years Eve, I’m going to propose.”

“Really? So soon, I mean you guys have only been together for a little while.”

He nodded, “Yeah, I love her. I want to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Trista sighed, she knew she wouldn’t be able to talk him out of this one, “Good luck.”

The sound of a beeper going off blared through the room and Trista saw it was hers, “I’ll see you later.”

After she left, Carsyn started to get out of his scrubs when he heard Kyle’s voice, “Hey do you know where Trista is?”

“Sorry, she just got called down to Trauma 1 for some emergency. Anything I can help you with?” Carsyn pulled his t-shirt on.

Kyle shook his head, “No, its alright.”

Kyle stood alone in the hallway, looking at the ring in his hand. It seemed as though he was never going to get to propose. Every time he tried, something stopped him.

Hallow Hills—Outside Grounds

Abby got a very unsettling feeling as she walked across the open yard in the snow. She felt as though she were dreaming. This was exactly the place she had dreamed she and Chad were about to make love. She looked around; sure that someone was watching her. No one was visible.

Thwack!

Abby looked down at what hit her leg and saw the snow clinging to her jeans. “Who’s there?” She asked as she crouched down, gathering snow in her gloved hands, looking up in time to see Chad throw another snowball.

It hit the area right next to her, giving her time to throw one at him and then go retreat behind a snow-bank to start building up ammunition. “I know your out here Miss Adams!” he called out.

For a moment Abby was thrilled he used Miss Adams, but it also hurt. When he called her Abby the other night, she practically melted.

Abby stood up and threw a snow ball right into his chest.

Chad looked over and saw her behind the snow and began chasing after her.

Abby ran all over the yard, and she and Chad threw snow back and fourth, giving up on forming the balls.

“Come on, you know I’m going to win.” Chad smiled as he tossed more snow at her.

“Oh I don’t think so cowboy.” she called out as she ran back to the snow bank, tripping and tumbling backwards into the snow.

Chad stood over her, his hand extended to help her up.

Abby took hold and for a moment she thought her heart stopped, but instead of pulling herself up, she pulled him down. Right next to her.

“Gee thanks.”

“Your welcome.” She smiled, and Chad thought he might die. He hadn’t felt this happy, this free in a very long time. “So I hear your redecorating the pool house and planning to move back in.”

Chad nodded, “Yeah, the whole main house thing is getting to much for me.”

He reached over and brushed the hair away from her eyes.

Abby held his hand close to her face, “And the pool house allows you more, freedom?”

“Yeah, exactly.” he nodded and shifted his body closer to hers.

“That would probably be very helpful, not having your aunt, uncle, parents around all the time.” Abby released his hand and found herself holding his head, fingers in his dark hair.

“Yeah.” Was all Chad said before he leaned over and kissed Abby, pressing her slim body into the snow.

Abby kissed him back, opening her mouth, accepting his tongue. Tasting. Enjoying. She wrapped one leg around his, keeping him on top of her.

Chad began kissing her neck, the cold snow didn’t seem to matter. He wanted to be closer to her. He needed to know her body.

“Wait, Chad. We can’t do this.” Abby looked up at him, regret in her eyes.

Only Chad wasn’t sure if it was what they had done or rather what they wouldn’t be doing. “You’re right I am so very sorry.” He stood up and then helped her up.

“It won’t happen again, I promise.”

Abby smiled, “I know, I’m going to go check on the twins.”

Chad stood there and watched Abby walk away from him.

The masculine hands rubbed together as he hid in the cold bushes near the pool house. He just watched as Chad and Abby made out in the snow. If they hadn’t stopped then, they probably would’ve had sex right there. He pulled the hood of his sweatshirt up over his face and quickly retreated from the estate.

14 Princeton Drive

Maggie walked into the back door, “Carsyn, you here?” she called out as she put the pie on the counter.

“Hey, honey what are you doing here?” he asked as he came in from the living room.

Maggie bit her lower lip, “I came to see you of course. I wanted to talk to you.”

“Is something wrong?”

“Not really.” she lied. She knew she had to do this, now.

“Oh is that a pie?” he asked as he opened the box.

“Yeah, freshly backed. It’s pecan.”

“Awesome. So what’s going on?” he took out a plate and knife.

She took a deep breath, “Carsyn, I don’t think we should see each other anymore.”

Carsyn calmly put the knife down, “What? Maggie what brought this on?”

“A conversation I had with my mother the other day.”

“I don’t think I understand.”

She looked down at the car keys in her hand, oh how easy it would be to just up and leave. “She said something and it actually hit home. I’m running away from myself by being with you. I have to go be myself before I can have a relationship, with any man at all.”

“I understand, but are you sure about this?”

Maggie nodded, leaned over kissed his cheek and walked to the door, “Besides Carsyn, I’m probably not the one for you. I’ll see you around.”

Carsyn looked at his back door, not sure what to make of the fact his girlfriend just brought him a pie and dumped him.
